Thursday Night Book Club

Senior Center Book Club

Join us Tuesday, September 14th at 1 PM at the Senior Center to discuss The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes. Copies of this title are available at the library.

Free Admission to Museums for Children

From July 1 to September 6, Connecticut children age 18 and under plus one accompanying adult can visit participating museums free of charge through the Connecticut Summer at the Museum program. Please make sure you check each museum for online advance ticketing and reservations, as they may be required. Stamping Kits

Available to check out! Stamping Kits–Everything you need to create cards or for scrapbooking. Each kit comes with clear stamps, acrylic blocks, ink pads, and decorative edge scissors. Choose from Birthday/Friendship, Get Well/Sympathy, Thank You, Wedding/New Baby, Valentine’s, Halloween/Fall, Thanksgiving, & Christmas.

2021 Adult & Teen Summer Reading Program

Program begins June 21st. Stop by the library to pick up a form or print out from our facebook page. Earn points by participating in various library related activities. Once you reach 200 points, stop by the library to receive a prize. Reach 400 points to be entered into a drawing for our grand prize. Forms must be submitted by August 26th.

One Book, One Community

The Levi E. Coe Library is a recipient of the American Library Association Libraries Transforming Communities grant to host a One Book, One Community conversation using the book, Caste: the origins of our discontents by Isabel Wilkerson held in October 2021. Call or stop by the library to sign up. Books will be available in August. Stay tuned for additional details.

Lawn Games

Summer is here! Don’t forget about our lawn games including Bocce, Cornhole, Croquet, Horseshoes, Kan Jam, Ladder Toss, Lawn Bowling, Ring Toss, and Scoop Ball. This project is supported by a grant from the Coginchaug Valley Education Foundation.
