2022 Adult & Teen Summer Reading Program

Program begins June 27th. Earn points by participating in library-related activities. Reach 400 points to be entered in a drawing for our grand prize. Stop by to pick up your summer reading form and a prize! One prize per person while supplies last. Forms must be submitted by August 25th.

First Annual Fairy Garden Village

Located in the Library’s Shakespeare Garden. The village will be on display outside from June 25th-July 9th. Sponsored by the Friends of the Levi E. Coe Library.

Middlefield Lions Club Recycling Challenge

Collection boxes are located in the library’s upper lobby. The Lions Club goal is to collect 500 pounds of plastic material so Trex will award their club with a composite bench to add to our community. All plastic must be clean, dry and free of food residue. Thursday Night Book Club

DATE CHANGE–Join us Thursday, July 7th at 5 PM in the library’s media area to discuss The Dickens Boy by Thomas Keneally. Copies of this title will be available at the library.

Senior Center Book Club

Join us Tuesday, July 12th at 2 PM at the library to discuss A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles. Copies of this title will be available at the library.

Recycling at the Library

Look for the red bucket in the library’s upper lobby! Do you have any old pens, markers, applesauce pouches, or toothpaste tubes? Sara Hofferd has placed a drop off space for these recyclables and more. If you’re wondering if your plastic items can be left in the red bucket, check https://www.terracycle.com/en-US/brigades

Stamping Kits

Available to check out! Stamping Kits–Everything you need to create cards or for scrapbooking. Each kit comes with clear stamps, acrylic blocks, ink pads, and decorative edge scissors. Choose from Birthday/Friendship, Get Well/Sympathy, Thank You, Wedding/New Baby, Valentine’s, Halloween/Fall, Thanksgiving, & Christmas.

Lawn Games

Don’t forget about our lawn games including Bocce, Cornhole, Croquet, Curling, Giant Checkers, Giant Connect Four, Giant Dominoes, Giant Jenga, Horseshoes, Jumbo Foam Dice, Kan Jam, Ladder Toss, Lawn Bowling, Magnetic Darts, Ping Pong, Ring Toss, Scoop Ball, and Washer Toss.
